Known issues

Meeting segment production occasionally stops​

Twice, a long meeting session stopped producing segments or its elapsed time froze. Other sessions under the same conditions were fine, and the cause is still unknown.

  • If the elapsed time stays frozen for several minutes, press Stop Recording. The audio up to that point is kept.
  • If debug logging was on, please send diagnostics.

The same speech appears twice when using speakers​

Without headphones, the microphone picks up system audio again. Both tracks show as is during recording. Outputs remove the duplicates, with limits:

  • Sogon removes leaked sound during stretches where you are not talking.
  • Stretches where you talk during playback are kept so your own words aren't deleted. The leaked sentences in those stretches may remain twice.
  • On some Macs the microphone input is louder than system audio, and the volume-based check doesn't trigger.

Headphones avoid this issue.

Long recordings transcribed before v0.13.0 are missing content​

Before v0.13.0, Sogon silently dropped parts of stretches longer than 30 seconds. If the audio is still there, expand the history item and use Transcribe again. It creates a new session and leaves the original untouched.
